Bottom toolbar
The selection readouts docked along the bottom of the window: start, end and duration, each editable.
Docked along the bottom of the window, the Bottom toolbar shows the current selection as three figures: Selection start and end, and Duration.
All three are editable — click a digit and type. A new start or end moves that edge of the selection; a new duration moves the end so the selection becomes exactly that long. The readouts are greyed out when nothing is selected.
Formats
The start-and-end pair and the duration each carry their own format — clock
time, samples, frames, beats:bars and more — chosen the same way as the
playhead timecode. You can read the
selection in clock time while reading its length in seconds, or the other
way round. In beats:bars, the figures follow the project
tempo and
time signature.
